Mark 9:42-44
New Century Version
42 “If one of these little children believes in me, and someone causes that child to sin, it would be better for that person to have a large stone tied around his neck and be drowned in the sea. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to lose part of your body and live forever than to have two hands and go to hell, where the fire never goes out. [ 44 In hell the worm does not die; the fire is never put out.][a]

Causing to Stumble
42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble,(A) it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea.(B) 43 If your hand causes you to stumble,(C) cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell,(D) where the fire never goes out.(E) [44] [a]
