³⁹ Then he ordered them to have all the people sit down on the green grass in groups. ⁴⁰ They sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties. ⁴¹ Taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, blessed and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to distribute among the people. He also divided the two fish among them.
