⁶⁷Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands,

²⁶Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged,^(A) and handed him over to be crucified.

²⁶Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

³⁰They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.^(A)

³⁰And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
