The Transfiguration

17 ^(A)And after six days Jesus took with him ^(B)Peter and James, and John his brother, and led them up a high mountain by themselves.

¹³ and in the midst of the lampstands ^(A)one like ^(B)a son of man, ^(C)clothed with a long robe and ^(D)with a golden sash around his chest. ^14 (E)The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. ^(F)His eyes were like a flame of fire, ^15 (G)his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and ^(H)his voice was like the roar of many waters. ^16 (I)In his right hand he held seven stars, ^(J)from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and ^(K)his face was like the sun shining ^(L)in full strength.

^17 (M)When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But ^(N)he laid his right hand on me, ^(O)saying, “Fear not, ^(P)I am the first and the last,

^5 (A)I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, ^(B)a man clothed in linen, ^(C)with a belt of fine ^(D)gold from Uphaz around his waist. ⁶ His body was like ^(E)beryl, his face ^(F)like the appearance of lightning, ^(G)his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and ^(H)legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and ^(I)the sound of his words like the sound of a multitude.
