43 (A)Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knew at what watch the thief would come, he would surely watch, and not suffer his house to be dug through.
44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in the hour that ye think not, will the Son of man come.
45 (B)Who then is a faithful servant and wise, whom his master hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in season?

43 But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming,(A) he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 So you also must be ready,(B) because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.
45 “Who then is the faithful and wise servant,(C) whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?
