⁴⁹ and he begins to beat his fellow slaves, and he eats and drinks with those habitually drunk;

⁴⁵ But if that slave says in his heart, ‘My master will take a long time to come,’ and he begins to beat the other slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;

¹⁵ For these people are not drunk, as you assume, ^(A)since it is only the ^[a]third hour of the day;

²¹ for when you eat, each one takes his own supper first; and one goes hungry while ^(A)another gets drunk.

¹⁸ And ^(A)do not get drunk with wine, ^[a]in which there is ^(B)debauchery, but be ^(C)filled with the Spirit,

⁷ For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who are drunk, ^(A)get drunk at night.

² with whom ^(A)the kings of the earth committed acts of sexual immorality, and ^(B)those who live on the earth ^(C)became drunk with the wine of her sexual immorality.”

⁶ And I saw the woman drunk with ^(A)the blood of the ^[a]saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Jesus. When I saw her, I wondered ^[b]greatly.
