51 And behold, one of them which were with Jesus, stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high Priest, and smote off his ear.
52 [a]Then said Jesus unto him, Put up thy sword into his place: (A)for all that [b]take the sword, shall perish with the sword.
53 [c]Either thinkest thou, that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he will give me more than twelve legions of Angels?

51 With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword,(A) drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.(B)
52 “Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.(C) 53 Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?(D)
