4 saying, I have sinned, betraying the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? You see to it. 5 And Judas cast down the silver pieces in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

New International Version
4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”
“What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”(A)
5 So Judas threw the money into the temple(B) and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.(C)
6 The chief priests picked up the coins and said, “It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.”
