4 He said, ‘I have sinned by betraying innocent[a] blood.’ But they said, ‘What is that to us? See to it yourself.’ 5 Throwing down the pieces of silver in the temple, he departed; and he went and hanged himself. 6 But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, ‘It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, since they are blood money.’

New International Version
4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”
“What is that to us?” they replied. “That’s your responsibility.”(A)
5 So Judas threw the money into the temple(B) and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.(C)
6 The chief priests picked up the coins and said, “It is against the law to put this into the treasury, since it is blood money.”
