Matthew 3:3-5
International Standard Version
3 He was the one the prophet Isaiah was referring to when he said,
“He is a voice calling out in the wilderness:
‘Prepare the way for the Lord![a]
Make his paths straight!’”[b]
4 John had clothing made of camel’s hair and wore[c] a leather belt around his waist. His diet consisted of grasshoppers[d] and wild honey.
5 Then the people of[e] Jerusalem, all Judea, and the entire region along the Jordan began flocking to him,

New International Version
3 This is he who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah:
“A voice of one calling in the wilderness,
‘Prepare the way for the Lord,
make straight paths for him.’”[a](A)
4 John’s(B) clothes were made of camel’s hair, and he had a leather belt around his waist.(C) His food was locusts(D) and wild honey. 5 People went out to him from Jerusalem and all Judea and the whole region of the Jordan.
