^2 (A)And they brought to Him a ^(B)paralyzed man lying on a stretcher. And seeing their faith, Jesus said to the man who was paralyzed, “^(C)Take courage, ^[a]son; ^(D)your sins are forgiven.”

⁶ But so that you may know that ^(A)the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins”—then He *said to the ^(B)paralyzed man, “Get up, pick up your stretcher and go home.”

⁵ And Jesus, seeing their faith, *said to the paralyzed man, “Son, ^(A)your sins are forgiven.”

⁹ Which is easier, to say to the ^(A)paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven’; or to say, ‘Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk’?

²⁰ And seeing their faith, He said, “^[a]Friend, ^(A)your sins are forgiven you.”
