²¹ “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; children will rebel against their parents^(A) and have them put to death.^(B)

¹⁰ At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other,

¹⁶ You will be betrayed even by parents, brothers and sisters, relatives and friends,^(A) and they will put some of you to death.
