¹⁷ And these signs^(A) will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons;^(B) they will speak in new tongues;^(C)

¹⁸ they will pick up snakes^(A) with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on^(B) sick people, and they will get well.”

⁷ For with shrieks, impure spirits came out of many,^(A) and many who were paralyzed or lame were healed.^(B)
