²⁸“Truly I tell you, some who are standing here will not taste death before they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

²⁸Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

²⁷For as lightning^(A) that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming^(B) of the Son of Man.^(C)

²⁷For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

³⁴Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened.^(A)

³⁴Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
