¹⁸But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

²⁵So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

²⁵And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.

²⁷Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

²⁷Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury.

²⁸“‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags.

²⁸Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents.
