31 And when they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe and put his own clothes on him and (A)led him away to crucify him.

31 After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him. Then they led him away to crucify him.(A)

32 As they were going out,(C) they met a man from Cyrene,(D) named Simon, and they forced him to carry the cross.(E) 33 They came to a place called Golgotha (which means “the place of the skull”).(F) 34 There they offered Jesus wine to drink, mixed with gall;(G) but after tasting it, he refused to drink it.

31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.
32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.
33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,
34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.
