10 And showed tokens and wonders upon Pharaoh, and on all his servants, and on all the people of his land: for thou knewest that they dealt proudly against them: therefore thou madest thee a Name, as appeareth this day.
11 (A)For thou didst break up the Sea before them, and they went through the midst of the sea on dry land: and those that pursued them, hast thou cast into the bottoms as a stone, in the mighty waters:
12 And (B)leddest them in the day with a pillar of a cloud, and in the night with a pillar of fire to give them light in the way that they went.

10 You sent signs(A) and wonders(B) against Pharaoh, against all his officials and all the people of his land, for you knew how arrogantly the Egyptians treated them. You made a name(C) for yourself,(D) which remains to this day. 11 You divided the sea before them,(E) so that they passed through it on dry ground, but you hurled their pursuers into the depths,(F) like a stone into mighty waters.(G) 12 By day(H) you led(I) them with a pillar of cloud,(J) and by night with a pillar of fire to give them light on the way they were to take.
