Numbers 14:28-30

²⁸Say unto them, As truly as I live, saith the Lord, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:

²⁹Your carcases shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.

³⁰Doubtless ye shall not come into the land, concerning which I sware to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

²⁸So tell them, ‘As surely as I live,^(A) declares the Lord, I will do to you^(B) the very thing I heard you say: ²⁹In this wilderness your bodies will fall^(C)—every one of you twenty years old or more^(D) who was counted in the census^(E) and who has grumbled against me. ³⁰Not one of you will enter the land^(F) I swore with uplifted hand^(G) to make your home, except Caleb son of Jephunneh^(H) and Joshua son of Nun.^(I)
