¹⁵ In a dream, a vision^(A) in the night,
when deep sleep falls on people^(B)
as they slumber on their beds,
¹⁶ He uncovers their ears^(C) at that time
and terrifies them^[a] with warnings,

⁷ Indeed, the Lord God does nothing
without revealing His counsel
to His servants the prophets.^(A)
