Offerings of the Leaders

7 Now it came to pass, when Moses had finished ^(A)setting up the tabernacle, that he ^(B)anointed it and consecrated it and all its furnishings, and the altar and all its utensils; so he anointed them and consecrated them.

⁵ “Then the officers shall speak to the people, saying: ‘What man is there who has built a new house and has not ^(A)dedicated it? Let him go and return to his house, lest he die in the battle and another man dedicate it.

⁶³ And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to the Lord, twenty-two thousand bulls and one hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord.

⁹ And on the eighth day they held a ^(A)sacred assembly, for they observed the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

¹⁶ Then the children of Israel, the priests and the Levites and the rest of the descendants of the captivity, celebrated ^(A)the dedication of this ^[a]house of God with joy.

Nehemiah Dedicates the Wall

²⁷ Now at ^(A)the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought out the Levites in all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem to celebrate the dedication with gladness, ^(B)both with thanksgivings and singing, with cymbals and stringed instruments and harps.
