⁶⁵ For the Lord had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.

¹² Save Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite, and Joshua the son of Nun: for they have wholly followed the Lord.

¹³ His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

⁹ For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth.

¹¹ But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
