12 I indeed know-how to be humbled. I also know-how to abound. In anything and in all things, I have learned-the-secret[a]— both to be filled-to-satisfaction and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in-need. 13 I can-do all things by-means-of [b] the One strengthening me. 14 Nevertheless, you did well having co-partnered[c] in my affliction.

12 I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,(A) whether living in plenty or in want.(B) 13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.(C)
