15 You Philippians also know that when I first preached the Good News, you were the only church that helped me. It was when I left for the country of Macedonia. 16 Even while I was in the city of Thessalonica you helped me more than once. 17 It is not that I want to receive the gift. I want you to get the pay that is coming to you later.

15 Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days(A) of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia,(B) not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;(C) 16 for even when I was in Thessalonica,(D) you sent me aid more than once when I was in need.(E) 17 Not that I desire your gifts; what I desire is that more be credited to your account.(F)
