⁹The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord: but he loveth him that followeth after righteousness.

⁹The Lord detests the way of the wicked,^(A)
but he loves those who pursue righteousness.^(B)

¹¹But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

¹¹But you, man of God,^(A) flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness,^(B) faith, love,^(C) endurance and gentleness.
