²⁴Some people give freely and gain more; others refuse to give and end up with less.

²⁵Give freely, and you will profit. Help others, and you will gain more for yourself.

²³The desire of the righteous ends only in good,
but the hope of the wicked only in wrath.

²⁴One person gives freely, yet gains even more;
another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

²⁵A generous^(A) person will prosper;
