Proverbs 28:24-26

New American Standard Bible

²⁴He who ^(A)robs his father or his mother
And says, “There is no wrong done,”
Is the ^(B)companion of a person who destroys.
²⁵An ^[a]arrogant person ^(C)stirs up strife,
But one who ^(D)trusts in the Lord ^(E)will ^[b]prosper.
²⁶One who ^(F)trusts in his own heart is a fool,
But one who walks wisely will flee to safety.
