²They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

²Everyone lies^(A) to their neighbor;
they flatter with their lips
but harbor deception in their hearts.^(B)

⁸Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
