²Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.

heal me,^(C) Lord, for my bones are in agony.^(D)

⁴I said, Lord, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.
