2 Deus, Deus meus, ad te de luce vigilo. Sitivit in te anima mea; quam multipliciter tibi caro mea!
3 In terra deserta, et invia, et inaquosa, sic in sancto apparui tibi, ut viderem virtutem tuam et gloriam tuam.
4 Quoniam melior est misericordia tua super vitas, labia mea laudabunt te.
5 Sic benedicam te in vita mea, et in nomine tuo levabo manus meas.
6 Sicut adipe et pinguedine repleatur anima mea, et labiis exsultationis laudabit os meum.
7 Si memor fui tui super stratum meum, in matutinis meditabor in te.
8 Quia fuisti adjutor meus, et in velamento alarum tuarum exsultabo.
9 Adhaesit anima mea post te; me suscepit dextera tua.
10 Ipsi vero in vanum quaesierunt animam meam: introibunt in inferiora terrae;
11 tradentur in manus gladii: partes vulpium erunt.
12 Rex vero laetabitur in Deo; laudabuntur omnes qui jurant in eo: quia obstructum est os loquentium iniqua.

2 Exaudi, Deus, orationem meam cum deprecor; a timore inimici eripe animam meam.
3 Protexisti me a conventu malignantium, a multitudine operantium iniquitatem.
4 Quia exacuerunt ut gladium linguas suas; intenderunt arcum rem amaram,
5 ut sagittent in occultis immaculatum.
6 Subito sagittabunt eum, et non timebunt; firmaverunt sibi sermonem nequam. Narraverunt ut absconderent laqueos; dixerunt: Quis videbit eos?
7 Scrutati sunt iniquitates; defecerunt scrutantes scrutinio. Accedet homo ad cor altum,
8 et exaltabitur Deus. Sagittae parvulorum factae sunt plagae eorum,
9 et infirmatae sunt contra eos linguae eorum. Conturbati sunt omnes qui videbant eos,
10 et timuit omnis homo. Et annuntiaverunt opera Dei, et facta ejus intellexerunt.
11 Laetabitur justus in Domino, et sperabit in eo, et laudabuntur omnes recti corde.

2 Te decet hymnus, Deus, in Sion, et tibi reddetur votum in Jerusalem.
3 Exaudi orationem meam; ad te omnis caro veniet.
4 Verba iniquorum praevaluerunt super nos, et impietatibus nostris tu propitiaberis.
5 Beatus quem elegisti et assumpsisti: inhabitabit in atriis tuis. Replebimur in bonis domus tuae; sanctum est templum tuum,
6 mirabile in aequitate. Exaudi nos, Deus, salutaris noster, spes omnium finium terrae, et in mari longe.
7 Praeparans montes in virtute tua, accinctus potentia;
8 qui conturbas profundum maris, sonum fluctuum ejus. Turbabuntur gentes,
9 et timebunt qui habitant terminos a signis tuis; exitus matutini et vespere delectabis.
10 Visitasti terram, et inebriasti eam; multiplicasti locupletare eam. Flumen Dei repletum est aquis; parasti cibum illorum: quoniam ita est praeparatio ejus.
11 Rivos ejus inebria; multiplica genimina ejus: in stillicidiis ejus laetabitur germinans.
12 Benedices coronae anni benignitatis tuae, et campi tui replebuntur ubertate.
13 Pinguescent speciosa deserti, et exsultatione colles accingentur.
14 Induti sunt arietes ovium, et valles abundabunt frumento; clamabunt, etenim hymnum dicent.
65 In finem. Canticum psalmi resurrectionis. Jubilate Deo, omnis terra;
2 psalmum dicite nomini ejus; date gloriam laudi ejus.
3 Dicite Deo: Quam terribilia sunt opera tua, Domine! in multitudine virtutis tuae mentientur tibi inimici tui.
4 Omnis terra adoret te, et psallat tibi; psalmum dicat nomini tuo.
5 Venite, et videte opera Dei: terribilis in consiliis super filios hominum.
6 Qui convertit mare in aridam; in flumine pertransibunt pede: ibi laetabimur in ipso.
7 Qui dominatur in virtute sua in aeternum; oculi ejus super gentes respiciunt: qui exasperant non exaltentur in semetipsis.
8 Benedicite, gentes, Deum nostrum, et auditam facite vocem laudis ejus:
9 qui posuit animam meam ad vitam, et non dedit in commotionem pedes meos.
10 Quoniam probasti nos, Deus; igne nos examinasti, sicut examinatur argentum.
11 Induxisti nos in laqueum; posuisti tribulationes in dorso nostro;
12 imposuisti homines super capita nostra. Transivimus per ignem et aquam, et eduxisti nos in refrigerium.
13 Introibo in domum tuam in holocaustis; reddam tibi vota mea
14 quae distinxerunt labia mea: et locutum est os meum in tribulatione mea.
15 Holocausta medullata offeram tibi, cum incenso arietum; offeram tibi boves cum hircis.
16 Venite, audite, et narrabo, omnes qui timetis Deum, quanta fecit animae meae.
17 Ad ipsum ore meo clamavi, et exaltavi sub lingua mea.
18 Iniquitatem si aspexi in corde meo, non exaudiet Dominus.
19 Propterea exaudivit Deus, et attendit voci deprecationis meae.
20 Benedictus Deus, qui non amovit orationem meam, et misericordiam suam a me.

2 Deus misereatur nostri, et benedicat nobis; illuminet vultum suum super nos, et misereatur nostri:
3 ut cognoscamus in terra viam tuam, in omnibus gentibus salutare tuum.
4 Confiteantur tibi populi, Deus: confiteantur tibi populi omnes.
5 Laetentur et exsultent gentes, quoniam judicas populos in aequitate, et gentes in terra dirigis.
6 Confiteantur tibi populi, Deus: confiteantur tibi populi omnes.
7 Terra dedit fructum suum: benedicat nos Deus, Deus noster!
8 Benedicat nos Deus, et metuant eum omnes fines terrae.
67 In finem. Psalmus cantici ipsi David.
2 Exsurgat Deus, et dissipentur inimici ejus; et fugiant qui oderunt eum a facie ejus.
3 Sicut deficit fumus, deficiant; sicut fluit cera a facie ignis, sic pereant peccatores a facie Dei.
4 Et justi epulentur, et exsultent in conspectu Dei, et delectentur in laetitia.
5 Cantate Deo; psalmum dicite nomini ejus: iter facite ei qui ascendit super occasum. Dominus nomen illi; exsultate in conspectu ejus. Turbabuntur a facie ejus,
6 patris orphanorum, et judicis viduarum; Deus in loco sancto suo.
7 Deus qui inhabitare facit unius moris in domo; qui educit vinctos in fortitudine, similiter eos qui exasperant, qui habitant in sepulchris.
8 Deus, cum egredereris in conspectu populi tui, cum pertransires in deserto,
9 terra mota est, etenim caeli distillaverunt, a facie Dei Sinai, a facie Dei Israel.
10 Pluviam voluntariam segregabis, Deus, haereditati tuae; et infirmata est, tu vero perfecisti eam.
11 Animalia tua habitabunt in ea; parasti in dulcedine tua pauperi, Deus.
12 Dominus dabit verbum evangelizantibus, virtute multa.
13 Rex virtutum dilecti, dilecti; et speciei domus dividere spolia.
14 Si dormiatis inter medios cleros, pennae columbae deargentatae, et posteriora dorsi ejus in pallore auri.
15 Dum discernit caelestis reges super eam, nive dealbabuntur in Selmon.
16 Mons Dei, mons pinguis: mons coagulatus, mons pinguis.
17 Ut quid suspicamini, montes coagulatos? mons in quo beneplacitum est Deo habitare in eo; etenim Dominus habitabit in finem.
18 Currus Dei decem millibus multiplex, millia laetantium; Dominus in eis in Sina, in sancto.
19 Ascendisti in altum, cepisti captivitatem, accepisti dona in hominibus; etenim non credentes inhabitare Dominum Deum.
20 Benedictus Dominus die quotidie: prosperum iter faciet nobis Deus salutarium nostrorum.
21 Deus noster, Deus salvos faciendi; et Domini, Domini exitus mortis.
22 Verumtamen Deus confringet capita inimicorum suorum, verticem capilli perambulantium in delictis suis.
23 Dixit Dominus: Ex Basan convertam, convertam in profundum maris:
24 ut intingatur pes tuus in sanguine; lingua canum tuorum ex inimicis, ab ipso.
25 Viderunt ingressus tuos, Deus, ingressus Dei mei, regis mei, qui est in sancto.
26 Praevenerunt principes conjuncti psallentibus, in medio juvencularum tympanistriarum.
27 In ecclesiis benedicite Deo Domino de fontibus Israel.
28 Ibi Benjamin adolescentulus, in mentis excessu; principes Juda, duces eorum; principes Zabulon, principes Nephthali.
29 Manda, Deus, virtuti tuae; confirma hoc, Deus, quod operatus es in nobis.
30 A templo tuo in Jerusalem, tibi offerent reges munera.
31 Increpa feras arundinis; congregatio taurorum in vaccis populorum: ut excludant eos qui probati sunt argento. Dissipa gentes quae bella volunt.
32 Venient legati ex AEgypto; AEthiopia praeveniet manus ejus Deo.
33 Regna terrae, cantate Deo; psallite Domino; psallite Deo.
34 Qui ascendit super caelum caeli, ad orientem: ecce dabit voci suae vocem virtutis.
35 Date gloriam Deo super Israel; magnificentia ejus et virtus ejus in nubibus.
36 Mirabilis Deus in sanctis suis; Deus Israel ipse dabit virtutem et fortitudinem plebi suae. Benedictus Deus!

1 Truly my soul finds rest(A) in God;(B)
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock(C) and my salvation;(D)
he is my fortress,(E) I will never be shaken.(F)
3 How long will you assault me?
Would all of you throw me down—
this leaning wall,(G) this tottering fence?
4 Surely they intend to topple me
from my lofty place;
they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
but in their hearts they curse.[b](H)
5 Yes, my soul, find rest in God;(I)
my hope comes from him.
6 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
7 My salvation and my honor depend on God[c];
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.(J)
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;(K)
pour out your hearts to him,(L)
for God is our refuge.
9 Surely the lowborn(M) are but a breath,(N)
the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance,(O) they are nothing;
together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion(P)
or put vain hope in stolen goods;(Q)
though your riches increase,
do not set your heart on them.(R)
11 One thing God has spoken,
two things I have heard:
“Power belongs to you, God,(S)
12 and with you, Lord, is unfailing love”;(T)
and, “You reward everyone
according to what they have done.”(U)
Psalm 63[d]
A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah.
1 You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,(V)
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water.(W)
2 I have seen you in the sanctuary(X)
and beheld your power and your glory.(Y)
3 Because your love is better than life,(Z)
my lips will glorify you.
4 I will praise you as long as I live,(AA)
and in your name I will lift up my hands.(AB)
5 I will be fully satisfied as with the richest of foods;(AC)
with singing lips my mouth will praise you.
6 On my bed I remember you;
I think of you through the watches of the night.(AD)
7 Because you are my help,(AE)
I sing in the shadow of your wings.(AF)
8 I cling to you;(AG)
your right hand upholds me.(AH)
9 Those who want to kill me will be destroyed;(AI)
they will go down to the depths of the earth.(AJ)

and become food for jackals.(AL)
11 But the king will rejoice in God;
all who swear by God will glory in him,(AM)

Psalm 64[e]

2 Hide me from the conspiracy(AQ) of the wicked,(AR)
from the plots of evildoers.
3 They sharpen their tongues like swords(AS)
and aim cruel words like deadly arrows.(AT)
4 They shoot from ambush at the innocent;(AU)
they shoot suddenly, without fear.(AV)
5 They encourage each other in evil plans,
they talk about hiding their snares;(AW)
they say, “Who will see it[f]?”(AX)
6 They plot injustice and say,
“We have devised a perfect plan!”
Surely the human mind and heart are cunning.
7 But God will shoot them with his arrows;
they will suddenly be struck down.
8 He will turn their own tongues against them(AY)
and bring them to ruin;
all who see them will shake their heads(AZ) in scorn.(BA)
9 All people will fear;(BB)
they will proclaim the works of God
and ponder what he has done.(BC)
10 The righteous will rejoice in the Lord(BD)
and take refuge in him;(BE)
all the upright in heart will glory in him!(BF)
Psalm 65[g]

1 Praise awaits[h] you, our God, in Zion;(BG)
to you our vows will be fulfilled.(BH)
2 You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.(BI)
3 When we were overwhelmed by sins,(BJ)
you forgave[i] our transgressions.(BK)
4 Blessed are those you choose(BL)
and bring near(BM) to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,(BN)
of your holy temple.
5 You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,(BO)
God our Savior,(BP)
the hope of all the ends of the earth(BQ)
and of the farthest seas,(BR)
6 who formed the mountains(BS) by your power,
having armed yourself with strength,(BT)
7 who stilled the roaring of the seas,(BU)
the roaring of their waves,
and the turmoil of the nations.(BV)
8 The whole earth is filled with awe at your wonders;
where morning dawns, where evening fades,
you call forth songs of joy.(BW)
9 You care for the land and water it;(BX)
you enrich it abundantly.(BY)
The streams of God are filled with water
to provide the people with grain,(BZ)
for so you have ordained it.[j]
10 You drench its furrows and level its ridges;
you soften it with showers(CA) and bless its crops.
11 You crown the year with your bounty,(CB)
and your carts overflow with abundance.(CC)
12 The grasslands of the wilderness overflow;(CD)
the hills are clothed with gladness.(CE)
13 The meadows are covered with flocks(CF)
and the valleys are mantled with grain;(CG)
they shout for joy and sing.(CH)
Psalm 66
For the director of music. A song. A psalm.
1 Shout for joy to God, all the earth!(CI)
2 Sing the glory of his name;(CJ)
make his praise glorious.(CK)
3 Say to God, “How awesome are your deeds!(CL)
So great is your power
that your enemies cringe(CM) before you.
4 All the earth bows down(CN) to you;
they sing praise(CO) to you,
they sing the praises of your name.”[k]
5 Come and see what God has done,
his awesome deeds(CP) for mankind!
6 He turned the sea into dry land,(CQ)
they passed through(CR) the waters on foot—
come, let us rejoice(CS) in him.
7 He rules forever(CT) by his power,
his eyes watch(CU) the nations—
let not the rebellious(CV) rise up against him.
8 Praise(CW) our God, all peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard;
9 he has preserved our lives(CX)
and kept our feet from slipping.(CY)
10 For you, God, tested(CZ) us;
you refined us like silver.(DA)
11 You brought us into prison(DB)
and laid burdens(DC) on our backs.
12 You let people ride over our heads;(DD)
we went through fire and water,
but you brought us to a place of abundance.(DE)
13 I will come to your temple with burnt offerings(DF)
and fulfill my vows(DG) to you—
14 vows my lips promised and my mouth spoke
when I was in trouble.
15 I will sacrifice fat animals to you
and an offering of rams;
I will offer bulls and goats.(DH)
16 Come and hear,(DI) all you who fear God;
let me tell(DJ) you what he has done for me.
17 I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue.
18 If I had cherished sin in my heart,
the Lord would not have listened;(DK)
19 but God has surely listened
and has heard(DL) my prayer.
20 Praise be to God,
who has not rejected(DM) my prayer
or withheld his love from me!

1 May God be gracious to us and bless us

2 so that your ways may be known on earth,
