⁵For you, O Lord, are my ^(A)hope,
my trust, O Lord, from my youth.

⁵For you have been my hope,^(A) Sovereign Lord,
my confidence^(B) since my youth.

⁵For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

¹⁶With the mighty deeds of the Lord God I will come;
I will remind them of your righteousness, yours alone.

¹⁶I will come and proclaim your mighty acts,^(A) Sovereign Lord;
I will proclaim your righteous deeds, yours alone.

¹⁶I will go in the strength of the Lord God: I will make mention of thy righteousness, even of thine only.
