⁴I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:

⁴To the arrogant^(A) I say, ‘Boast no more,’^(B)
and to the wicked, ‘Do not lift up your horns.^[a]^(C)

³I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

³I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.^(A)

I hate what faithless people do;^(B)
I will have no part in it.
