⁴O Lord God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Psalm 80:4

New International Version

⁴How long,^(A) Lord God Almighty,
will your anger smolder^(B)
against the prayers of your people?

⁸Also when I cry and shout, he shutteth out my prayer.

⁸Even when I call out or cry for help,^(A)
he shuts out my prayer.^(B)

⁴⁴Thou hast covered thyself with a cloud, that our prayer should not pass through.

⁴⁴You have covered yourself with a cloud^(A)
so that no prayer^(B) can get through.^(C)
