² For behold, your enemies ^(A)make an uproar;
    those who hate you have ^(B)raised their heads.
³ They lay ^(C)crafty plans against your people;
    they consult together against your ^(D)treasured ones.
⁴ They say, “Come, ^(E)let us wipe them out as a nation;
    let the name of Israel be remembered no more!”
⁵ For they conspire with one accord;
    against you they make a covenant—
⁶ the tents of ^(F)Edom and ^(G)the Ishmaelites,
    ^(H)Moab and ^(I)the Hagrites,
^7 (J)Gebal and ^(K)Ammon and ^(L)Amalek,
    ^(M)Philistia with the inhabitants of ^(N)Tyre;
^8 (O)Asshur also has joined them;
    they are the strong arm of ^(P)the children of Lot. Selah
