How long will you assault me?
    Would all of you throw me down—
    this leaning wall,(A) this tottering fence?
Surely they intend to topple me
    from my lofty place;
    they take delight in lies.
With their mouths they bless,
    but in their hearts they curse.[a](B)

Yes, my soul, find rest in God;(C)
    my hope comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
    he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God[b];
    he is my mighty rock, my refuge.(D)
Trust in him at all times, you people;(E)
    pour out your hearts to him,(F)
    for God is our refuge.

Surely the lowborn(G) are but a breath,(H)
    the highborn are but a lie.
If weighed on a balance,(I) they are nothing;
    together they are only a breath.
10 Do not trust in extortion(J)
    or put vain hope in stolen goods;(K)
though your riches increase,
    do not set your heart on them.(L)

  2. Psalm 62:7 Or / God Most High is my salvation and my honor

How long will ye imagine mischief against a man? ye shall be slain all of you: as a bowing wall shall ye be, and as a tottering fence.

They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.

Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.

10 Trust not in oppression, and become not vain in robbery: if riches increase, set not your heart upon them.

How long will you attack a man?
You shall be slain, all of you,
(A)Like a leaning wall and a tottering fence.
They only consult to cast him down from his high position;
They (B)delight in lies;
They bless with their mouth,
But they curse inwardly. Selah

My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my [a]expectation is from Him.
He only is my rock and my salvation;
He is my defense;
I shall not be [b]moved.
(C)In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God.

Trust in Him at all times, you people;
(D)Pour out your heart before Him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah

(E)Surely men of low degree are [c]a vapor,
Men of high degree are a lie;
If they are weighed on the scales,
They are altogether lighter than vapor.
10 Do not trust in oppression,
Nor vainly hope in robbery;
(F)If riches increase,
Do not set your heart on them.
