Psalm 1:3-5
Holman Christian Standard Bible

3 He is like a tree planted beside streams of water[a]
that bears its fruit in season[b](A)
and whose leaf does not wither.(B)
Whatever he does prospers.(C)

4 The wicked are not like this;
instead, they are like chaff that the wind blows away.(D)
5 Therefore the wicked will not survive[c] the judgment,(E)
and sinners will not be in the community of the righteous.

3 That person is like a tree(A) planted by streams(B) of water,(C)

4 Not so the wicked!
    They are like chaff(G)
    that the wind blows away.
