12 (A)Arise, O Lord; O God, (B)lift up your hand;
    (C)forget not the afflicted.
13 Why does the wicked (D)renounce God
    and say in his heart, “You will not (E)call to account”?
14 But you do see, for you (F)note mischief and vexation,
    that you may take it into your hands;
to you the helpless (G)commits himself;
    you have been (H)the helper of the fatherless.
15 (I)Break the arm of the wicked and evildoer;
    (J)call his wickedness to account till you find none.

16 (K)The Lord is king forever and ever;
    the (L)nations perish from his land.
17 O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted;
    you will (M)strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear
18 to (N)do justice to the fatherless and (O)the oppressed,
    so that (P)man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

13 Wherefore doth the wicked contemn God? he hath said in his heart, Thou wilt not require it.

14 Thou hast seen it; for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

15 Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till thou find none.

16 The Lord is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
