¹³Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble,
and he saved them^(A) from their distress.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in sunder.

¹⁴He brought them out of darkness,^(A) the utter darkness,^(B)
and broke away their chains.^(C)
