⁸³Though I am like a wineskin in the smoke,
I do not forget^(A) your decrees.

⁵The arrogant have hidden a trap for me,
and with cords they have spread a net,^[a]
along the road they have set snares for me. Selah^(A)

⁵The arrogant have hidden a snare^(A) for me;
they have spread out the cords of their net^(B)
and have set traps^(C) for me along my path.
