Psalm 124:4-6

⁴Then the waters had overflowed us, The stream passed over our soul,

⁵Then passed over our soul had the proud waters.

⁶Blessed [is] Jehovah who hath not given us, A prey to their teeth.

Psalm 124:4-6

New International Version

⁴the flood^(A) would have engulfed us,
the torrent^(B) would have swept over us,
⁵the raging waters
would have swept us away.

⁶Praise be to the Lord,
who has not let us be torn by their teeth.
