⁶May they be like grass on the roof,^(A)
which withers^(B) before it can grow;

⁷The grass withers; the flower fades,
[[when the breath of the Lord blows upon it;
surely the people are grass.^(A)

⁷The grass withers^(A) and the flowers fall,
because the breath^(B) of the Lord blows^(C) on them.
Surely the people are grass.
