^(C)Save my soul from the wicked with ^(D)Your sword,

¹³Rise up,^(A) Lord, confront them, bring them down;^(B)
with your sword rescue me from the wicked.

¹³Arise, O Lord, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is thy sword:

²Rescue me from ^(A)those who practice injustice,
And save me from ^(B)men of bloodshed.

²Deliver me from evildoers^(A)
and save me from those who are after my blood.^(B)

²Deliver me from the workers of iniquity, and save me from bloody men.
