⁴⁷ God—He gives me vengeance^(A)
and subdues peoples under me.^(B)

¹⁰ Why should the nations ask,
“Where is their God?”^(A)
Before our eyes,
let vengeance for the shed blood of Your servants
be known among the nations.^(B)

¹ Lord, God of vengeance—
God of vengeance, appear.^(A)

²⁰ But, Lord of Hosts, who judges righteously,
who tests^(A) heart^[a] and mind,^(B)
let me see Your vengeance on them,
for I have presented my case to You.^(C)
