Psalm 2:7-9

⁷I will declare the Lord’s decree:
He said to Me, “You are My Son;^[a]
today I have become Your^[b] Father.^(A)
⁸Ask of Me,
and I will make the nations Your^[c] inheritance
and the ends of the earth Your^[d] possession.^(B)
⁹You will break^[e] them with a rod of iron;
You^[f] will shatter them like pottery.”^[g]^(C)
