7 I will declare the Lord’s decree:
He said to Me, “You are My Son;[a]
today I have become Your[b] Father.(A)
8 Ask of Me,
and I will make the nations Your[c] inheritance
and the ends of the earth Your[d] possession.(B)
9 You will break[e] them with a rod of iron;

15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword(A) with which to strike down(B) the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”[a](C) He treads the winepress(D) of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.
