The voice of the Lord breaks the cedars;
    the Lord breaks (A)the cedars of Lebanon.
He makes Lebanon to (B)skip like a calf,

The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire.
The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness;
    the Lord shakes the wilderness of (E)Kadesh.

The voice of the Lord makes (F)the deer give birth[a]
    and strips the forests bare,
    and in his temple all cry, “Glory!”

10 The Lord sits enthroned over (G)the flood;
    the Lord sits enthroned (H)as king forever.
11 May the Lord give (I)strength to his people!
    May the Lord bless[b] his people with (J)peace!
