Will the ^(B)dust praise You? Will it declare Your faithfulness?

¹⁰ Will You perform wonders for the dead?
Or will ^(A)the departed spirits rise and praise You? Selah
¹¹ Will Your graciousness be declared in the grave,
Your faithfulness in ^[a]Abaddon?
¹² Will Your wonders be made known in the ^(B)darkness?
And Your righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?

¹⁷ The ^(A)dead do not praise ^[a]the Lord,
Nor do any who go down into ^(B)silence;

¹⁸ For ^(A)Sheol cannot thank You,
Death cannot praise You;
Those who go down ^(B)to the pit cannot hope for Your faithfulness.
