¹⁰The Lord ^(A)brings the counsel of the nations to nothing;
he frustrates the plans of the peoples.

¹⁰The Lord foils^(A) the plans^(B) of the nations;^(C)
he thwarts the purposes of the peoples.

¹¹^(A)The counsel of the Lord stands forever,
the plans of his heart to all generations.

¹¹But the plans of the Lord stand firm^(A) forever,
the purposes^(B) of his heart through all generations.
