¹⁶Answer me, Lord, for ^(A)Your mercy is good;
^(B)According to the greatness of Your compassion, ^(C)turn to me,

New International Version

¹⁶Answer me, Lord, out of the goodness of your love;^(A)
in your great mercy turn to me.

⁴⁵And He ^(A)remembered His covenant for their sake,
And ^[a]^(B)relented ^(C)according to the greatness of His mercy.

⁴⁵for their sake he remembered his covenant^(A)
and out of his great love^(B) he relented.^(C)
