14 God of armies, do (A)turn back;
(B)Look down from heaven and see, and take care of this vine,
15 The [a](C)shoot which Your right hand has planted,
And of the [b]son whom You have [c]strengthened for Yourself.
16 It is (D)burned with fire, it is cut down;
They perish from the (E)rebuke of Your face.

Watch over this vine,
15     the root your right hand has planted,

16 Your vine is cut down, it is burned with fire;(B)
    at your rebuke(C) your people perish.
