² The kings of the earth set themselves,
    and the rulers take counsel together,
    against the Lord and against his ^(A)Anointed, saying,
³ “Let us ^(B)burst their bonds apart
    and cast away their cords from us.”

³ Let them turn back because of their shame
    who say, “Aha, Aha!”

²⁹ May my accusers be ^(A)clothed with dishonor;
    may they ^(B)be wrapped in their own shame as in a cloak!
